Instructions for Authors

The Journal JGSD is published three times a year (April, August, and December).

After carefully reviewing the guidelines below, submit manuscripts online at JGSD's submission page. Step-by-step instructions on how to submit your manuscript online are available during the submission process.

It is required to use the Article's Template in Word and follow instructions on structuring the article and listing its tables, sources, formulas, graphs, and charts. Footnotes are not allowed.

To meet the publication standard, please prepare the manuscript according to the Checklist Form. It gives the author guidelines to follow when formatting the article for submission. This Form also MUST be provided during the submission process.

Register an "Author" account here, and track the progress of your submission by logging into the JGSD website. See the register/login links at the top right corner of this site.

The editorial staff of the Journal JGSD welcomes the submissions of scholarly articles. Papers submitted to the Journal must be original, previously unpublished, and currently not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

In regard to the references and citations, follow the latest APA Style guidance.

The JGSD Journal is committed to the editorial principles of all aspects assigned by the Committee on Public Ethics. This Journal uses iThenticate to prevent plagiarism in published papers.

Articles should have 5,000 words maximum.

Author Biographies – Please write a short, professional bio about each author at the end of the paper. The maximum number of words for the bio is 100 words.

Funding sources or other acknowledgments should be included on a separate page labeled “Acknowledgements.”

English Language Proficiency Requirement:  We want to make sure that your paper is free of grammatical, spelling, and other common errors. When the Editor recommends that the submitted article needs grammar improvement, authors would need to refine the use of English in their manuscripts and might consider using the services of professional English-language native editing companies.
